Turkey Feather - A feather from a turkey symbolizes abundance, pride, gratitude, harvesting, blessings, knowledge and fertility. In Native American culture, they would use these to blow out the flames of their sage. They said if the sage were to be blown out by our own breath, it would be as if blowing your spirit away. They would also use it for cleansing purposes to fan the smoke into the direction of what needed to be cleansed.
